Clipbuild.ai is a service operated by Second Mile Productions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide an AI-powered social media management platform that creates and schedules content for small businesses. Our registered address is available upon request. You can contact us at support@clipbuild.ai.

We collect the following categories of information when you use Clipbuild:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (managed securely through Clerk authentication).
• Business information: your business name, type, location, description, and any content preferences you provide during onboarding.
• Social media credentials: OAuth access tokens for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok that you explicitly authorize. We store these tokens securely to post content on your behalf.
• Media files: photos and videos you upload or connect via Google Drive for use in your posts.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app to improve our service.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.

We use your information to:

• Create, schedule, and publish social media posts on your behalf using the platforms you connect.
• Generate AI-written captions and content tailored to your business.
• Process your subscription payments through Stripe.
• Send transactional emails about your account and scheduled posts.
• Improve our AI models and service quality (using anonymized, aggregated data only).
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

When you connect a social media account, we request only the permissions necessary to post content on your behalf. Specifically:

• Facebook & Instagram: We request access to manage your Facebook Pages and Instagram Business Account for the sole purpose of publishing posts you approve. We access your pages list to identify which page to post to. We do not read private messages, contact lists, or personal profile data beyond what is needed to post.
• YouTube: We request upload permission to publish YouTube Shorts on your behalf.
• TikTok: We request video upload permission to publish content on your behalf.

You can revoke access to any connected platform at any time from your Clipbuild dashboard or directly through the social media platform's settings.

We share your data only with:

• Supabase (database and file storage infrastructure).
• Clerk (authentication and user management).
• Stripe (payment processing).
• OpenAI (AI caption and content generation — only business name, type, and description are sent, never personal data).
• Vercel (hosting infrastructure).
• Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) — only the content and tokens required to publish posts you approve.

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scheduled posts and media files are retained for 12 months after creation. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics, if any, are privacy-respecting and do not identify individual users.

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and access-controlled infrastructure. Social media access tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to perform actions you explicitly authorize.

Clipbuild is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of Clipbuild after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
